The Movement for Democratic Change's President Professor Welshman Ncube has demolished the MDC-T structure in Chikomba West.
Councillor Amos Reza, Councillor Chenjerai Chako and almost half of the MDC-T Chikomba west district executive were officially readmitted into the party at a colourfull ceremony held at a Chivhu hotel 142 km south of Harare, zimeye reported.
The MDC President declared that the three Chikomba seats will not go to MDC-T or Zanu-PF in this year's harmonised elections.
He said his party needs only "one bullet" to form the next government when he was referring to one step.
He was supported by the party's national chairman Goodrich Chimbaira who promised Professor Ncube the bulk of the seats in Mashonaland east province.
The MDC leader said, "Prime minister Morgan Tsvangirai will go into the Guinness Book of records for being the first ceremonial prime minister in Zimbabwe."
The vice president of the party who is also the former Dzivaresekwa legislator Mr Edwin Mushoriwa said "Mugabe and Tsvangirai are the same because they are both guided by stone age events"
Meanwhile the professor Ncube's MDC confirmed and endorsed Mr Arnold Chidodo as the candidate for Chikomba West seat currently held by Industry and commerce deputy minister Mike Bimha of Zanu-PF.
