GCN issues a RAPE alert in Masvingo

Gender activist - founder of the Girl Child Network - Betty Makoni today issued a rape alert to Masvingo residents.
The following rape alert was posted on Makoni's Facebook Timeline this after noon:
RAPE ALERT OF A MINOR IN MASVINGO IN ZIMBABWE. PARENTS AND CHILDREN BE WARNED THIS PAEDOPHILE WITH A SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE MAY HARM MORE. WE ARE TRACKING DOWN CASE BUT JUST KEEP AN EYE ON ALL CHILDREN.

There is an 11year old girl living in Rujeko Township in Masvingo that has been abused by a known assailant since 2008.
The story was reported sometime back and police were reluctant to make a follow up saying the child wasn't saying zvinonzwisisika.
Recently about a week ago, the mother discovered kuti mwana akaita an STI and her panties had blood stains that is when she started to quiz the child thoroughly.
She didn't have confidence in the police since she went there and was turned away. The child is (NAMES AND ADDRESS KEPT VERY PRIVATE)
The parents need your help to pursue their case since the perpetrator is known.
