Man stabbed to death over girlfriend

A man (21) from Thornhill Air Base in Gweru died after he was stabbed with a broken bottle in the stomach following a misunderstanding over a girlfriend.
An argument is said to have occurred between Farai Chibvaru and Mududuzi Makamu (19) who was armed with a broken bottle and stabbed Chibvaru, ripping open the stomach before disappearing into the night.
However, Chibvaru managed to walk towards Thornhill but collapsed and died as he approached the entrance of the air base.
Acting Midlands Police Spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko has appealed to the public to find better ways of fixing their misunderstandings.
