Geoffrey Nyarota's rural kitchen set on fire as

A kitchen belonging to MDC-T aspiring candidate for Makoni South, Geoffrey Nyarota was set on fire last week in unclear circumstances.
Nyarota confirmed that his kitchen was burnt down in a case of suspected political violence. He said the case was reported to Nyazura Police Station.
"The kitchen of my homestead at Gwangwadza Township in Nyazura was set on fire Wednesday night and destroyed," said Nyarota.
"The matter was reported to the police who attended the scene."
He said window panes on the main and guest houses were also destroyed.
The former editor of the Daily News is challenging incumbent MP Pishai Muchauraya in the party's primaries next week.
