Thieves drug security guard before stealing

A security guard was allegedly drugged by thieves who looted computers and accessories at a company in Harare.
It is alleged that the security guard was offered a drink and a pie by a man who had sought refugee in the company premises.
Allegations are that the man, who is suspected to have been working with others, claimed that his vehicle had developed a technical fault and asked to park it near the company premises.
Hater he requested to be accommodated in the guard room as it was too cold.
The man then offered the security guard a drink and a pie.
It is suspected that the security guard was intoxicated and became unconscious and was only discovered by another security guard who came for the next shift.
It was then that the security guards realised that the 23 computers and other accessories valued at about $81,700 were stolen.
