Man stabbed with a kitchen knife over a debt

A Chitungwiza man is battling for his life after he was seriously stabbed on the jaw with a kitchen knife over a debt.
Chelsea Chiwire (21) has since appeared before Chitungwiza magistrate Mr Donald Masawi
facing an attempted murder charge.
Chiwire was not asked to plead to the charge and was remanded in custody to June 17. She was advised to seek bail at the High Court.
Allegations are that on May 28 armed with a kitchen knife hidden under her clothes to ask for her debt.
The complainant failed to give her leading to a heated argument.
During the melee, the incensed Chiwire drew the knife and stabbed him once on the lower right jaw. Chiwire ran away but was later arrested.
