In an interview with the Voice of Zimbabwe, the Deputy Minister of Education, Sport, Arts and Culture, Lazarus Dokora said government is planning the rollout of a programme to ensure that those who failed to access school fees are catered for.
Dokora said parents and schools are contractually bound and both parties should find a solution that does not inconvenience learners.
He said the use of the multiple currency regime makes it difficult for many parents in rural areas to raise the requisite school fees and school heads that turn away learners risk prosecution.
