Hunger stalk Zimbabweans

The country is experiencing its worst drought in recent history. Aid agencies have stepped up their aid in the country but they are struggling to feed the millions of hungry people.
In recent times, ongoing political instability, unresolved land ownership and even climate change have crippled the country. The most vulnerable are left to depend on aid agencies and neighbouring countries.
Zimbabwe has been forced to ask Zambia for 150,000 tonnes of maize to stave off the severity of the situation.
"Well, the situation is so serious, that we cannot say at this moment that we have a 100% coverage of all the people who are in need," said Felix Bamezon, Director of the World Food Programme.
