THE High Court yesterday deferred to today the bail hearing in a case in which Star FM DJ Munyaradzi Milimo is being charged with murdering a man he suspected of having an affair with his wife.
DJ Munya (32) is facing murder charges together with his two alleged accomplice - Taurai Janhi (34) and Mohammed Matare (31).
Justice Joseph Musakwa deferred the hearing to allow the State to file its bail response.
Mr Editor Mavuto of the Attorney General's Office sought the postponement in DJ Munya's case arguing that he received the bail application late and that he needed time to study it before he filed his response.
DJ Munya's accomplices, Janhi and Matare will be appearing in court separately tomorrow.
The trio allegedly connived to commit the offence through forcing the man to gulp poison.
In the bail applications DJ Munya and his alleged accomplices argue that the request for remand form (Form 242) does not disclose the nexus between them and the alleged crime.
The prosecution alleges that the DJ hired hitmen, who kidnapped and murdered Tinashe Magorimbo after he failed to pay him US$5 000 as compensation for having an affair with his wife.
