Zanu-PF minister, son taken to court over debt

Zanu-PF MP and Deputy Minister of Energy and Power Development Hubert Nyanhongo and his son Bright have been taken to court over a $3 000 debt which they allegedly failed to settle since last year.

At one point, the two are alleged to have tried using a stolen vehicle to clear the debt but the move back fired leading to the arrest of the minister's son.

Upon his arrest intervened and ordered his son to hand over his BMW to someone so that he could sell and recover his money but the vehicle turned out to be stolen. The two have served with summons on the matter.
