Parliament has officially written to all legislators informing them that their five year term of office will end on the 29th of June at midnight.
The Clerk of Parliament, Mr Austin Zvoma confirmed the development, adding that there is no room for extension of the term of parliament because the country is not at war or state of emergency.
According to the constitution, parliament can only be extended by a limit of five years if the president declares a state of emergency or if the country is at war.
