Mugabe leaves for Maputo

President Robert Mugabe has left for Maputo, Mozambique for the SADC special summit on Zimbabwe.
The meeting is expected to see the regional leaders pledging financial support for Zimbabwe's harmonised elections to be held on the 31st of next month.
President Mugabe, who is accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, was seen off at the Harare International Airport by several top government and Zanu PF officials.
Meanwhile, Vice President Joice Mujuru is the Acting President.
