Chindori Chininga dies in car accident

The House of Assembly member for Guruve South, Edward Chindori Chininga has died.
He was 58 years old.
Chininga, a former cabinet minister, died this Wednesday evening when a vehicle he was driving rammed into a tree at the T-junction of Rafingora and Mvurwi road.
In an interview with ZBC, ZRP Mashonaland Central Provincial Traffic Coordinator, Superintendent Ephraim Nyakata said Chininga was travelling along Rafingora-Guruve road and on reaching the Rafingora-Mvurwi T-junction, his car rammed into a tree.
Superintendent Nyakata said Chininga died on the spot and some passengers in his car received minor injuries.
Chininga was the chairman of the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Mines and Energy.
