High Court judge Justice Chinembiri Bhunu has postponed hearing the Law Society of Zimbabwe's request to de-register Douglas Mwonzora after State lawyers failed to pitch up.
Mwonzora of Mwonzora and associates was convicted by the Law Society of Zimbabwe (LSZ) of professional misconduct after he allegedly used forged or irregular notice of appeal in a bid to stop eviction of client from a disputed property.
LSZ last month filed an application with the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal based at the High Court to have Mwonzora and 12 others scrapped off the roll of legal practitioners.
