Mugabe poll date gaffe stops nothing

The electoral nomination court will go ahead and sit this Friday despite the error made by President Mugabe in Statutory Instrument 86 of 2013.
Addressing political parties in Harare yesterday Zimbabwe Electoral Commission chairperson Justice Rita Makarau said the court would go ahead with the nomination process on 28 June.
Justice Makarau added that in order for councillors to quality they needed to have a clean criminal record as well as be up to date on their utility.
