Zanu-PF, MDC-T finalising constituency lists

BY last night the two major parties in the Seventh Parliament had almost finished finalising their lists of candidates for submission to the nomination court.

Zanu-PF had a more complex task with the results of its huge primary poll exercise still being collated yesterday, after party members voted on Tuesday and Wednesday for the party candidates.

MDC-T had a simpler task with sitting MPs simply confirmed and primary polls, where they took place, having far fewer numbers than seen at the Zanu-PF primaries.

Both parties will submit their final lists for all 120 constituencies today, along with what are expected to be shorter lists from other parties.
