Woman bashed for snatching 3 husbands

Isabel Mukanga, Fadzai Muchimi and Christine Chibaya who all reside in Lundi, Masvingo, were dragged to court recently after they teamed up to beat Dambudzo Sibongile (29) whom they accused of having extra-marital affairs with all the three's husbands.
The trio was brought before Masvingo magistrate, Mr Francis Mapfumo after attacking Sibongile and leaving her badly bruised.
The court heard that on the fateful day, the self employed woman was on her way to the bus stop at Lundi when she met the three accused. The three women are said to have questioned her on the reason why she went around sleeping with other women's husbands. Sibongile was no given an opportunity to defend herself as the trio began bashing her.
Sibongile tried to ward of the blows but did not stand a chance against the three women. She was severely beaten with sticks and stones were pelted at her.
The injured woman however, reported the case to the police leading to the arrest of the three women the following day. Only one of the women admitted having committed the offence, the other two vehemently denied ever laying hands on the accused hubby-snatcher.
