Zapu starts nationwide campaign

ZAPU is preparing a star rally dubbed Woz'ekhaya intended to as a send-off for its candidates contesting the coming elections.
Detailed and meticulous preparations would point to the event as the most memorable and enjoyable that ZAPU will have held to date. The spirit and joy of comradeship expected on the occasion should be reminiscent of the heady days when Zimbabweans acted as one, saw each other as brothers and sisters with a common heritage and destiny
"Shock and awe style events of the day, that's how we plan it, it will showcase ZAPU's capacity and capabilities" one of the organisers quipped, when asked about the prospects of the rally.
ZAPU has started a nationwide campaign. "We shall visit every Province and Region in the country, holding mini-rallies and small mobilisation meetings, culminating in the star event - Woz'ekhaya" explained Dr Mguni, ZAPU Secretary General.
When asked why the rally is called Woz'ekhaya, Dr Mguni stated that ZAPU is the home to all the people of Zimbabwe," this was the cradle of national liberation, where the spark of liberation and freedom of all Zimbabweans was born," he continued.
"That flame, that vision that every person matters lies at the centre of ZAPU. All attending on the day will again experience how Zimbabwe can be together again. All will experience the joy of being "home at last" stated the ZAPU Secretary General.
Venue and date of the Rally to be confirmed in the near future, but the Rally will surely be in Bulawayo.
"IZAPU yiyo eyaqala uhambo lwenkululeko, i ZAPU yiyo ezakhokhela lapho abantu abafuna ukuya khona!
Yakatanga rwendo rwevanhu iZAPU; ichasvitsa vanhu iZAPU," Dr Mguni explained.
