Zimbabwe's long time ruler who is seeking to extend his 33 year rule in
upcoming elections was unveiling his party's campaign manifesto on
Friday. If elected back to power he's promised to intensify a
controversial empowerment programme to take over control of foreign
owned companies.
Voting is due at the end of July.
It comes five years after the previous elections ended in bloodshed and critics say crucial reforms have not been made to ensure a free and fair vote.
Mugabe told party loyalists that defeat is not an option in upcoming elections.
