Joseph Macheka's daughter defends Tsvangirai

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai's wife, Elizabeth who is Joseph Macheka a Zanu-PF Politburo member's daughter, has leapt to the defence of her husband saying personal attacks were uncalled for.

Addressing the MDC-T rally in Sakubva this afternoon, Mrs Tsvangirai said political leaders must refrain from making hate speeches. First Lady, Grace Mugabe has attacked Tsvangirai as an ugly womaniser.

But Mrs Tsvangirai said leaders must lead by example and articulate real issues that concern people not making hate speeches as others have done.

She urged people in their numbers to go out and vote, and not  to tire in attending rallies.
