Zanu-PF media says Mudzuri to drop a bombshell

In a bid to put a wedge between MDC-T top brass and Engineer Elias Mudzuri, who lost what has been considered a powerful post of National Organising Secretary to Nelson Chamisa at the just-ended MDC-T national congress, Zanu-PF controlled media says Eng. Mudzuri will drop a bombshell anytime soon as he is contemplating parting ways with the west-sponsored MDC-T party.

Political correspondent Tendai Munengwa reports that Engineer Mudzuri emerged out of the MDC-T congress a bitter man with the overall results also reported to have further fueled factionalism which is threatening to fragment the party.

The just-ended MDC-T national congress held in Bulawayo is reported to have widened crack lines in the party setting the stage for its break up into two if not more factions.

Sources close to unfolding developments indicated that the former party national organising secretary, who came out of the congress an ordinary card carrying member and a very bitter man, is reportedly leading the crusade to break away from the MDC-T.

Engineer Mudzuri who lost his post to Nelson Chamisa could not be drawn to confirm the development but said his next political move remains in his hands.

But sources say Mudzuri has already indicated his ambitions to fight his own war against Mr. Tsvangirai.
