Uzumba and Kotwa were still to be penetrated by MDC-T as its leader Mr Morgan Tsvangirai yesterday came face to face with the reality of poor support in the two districts when people snubbed a cocktail of star rallies he held yesterday.
Mr Tsvangirai addressed three rallies in Kotwa, Mutoko and Murehwa. He was forced to cancel two rallies in the Zanu-PF fortress of Uzumba after indifference from the community.
His entourage had to cut short its trip to Uzumba mid-way after his advance team alerted him that no people had showed up for his scheduled rallies at Mtawatawa and Maruwe.
Mr Tsvangirai will continue today with his whirlwind tour of Mashonaland East province with rallies set for Chikomba and Wedza.
