Dr Nkosazana-Zuma jets into Zimbabwe

African Union Commission chairperson, Dr Nkosazana Zuma arrived in the country yesterday as the continent' high level team continued trooping in.
AU Mission chairperson Mr Olusegun Obasanjo is expected to jet in but the day of his arrival was not immideately available.
Dr Dlamini-Zuma touched down during lunch hour and was welcomed by senior Government officials.
Speaking to journalists soon after her arrival at Harare International Airport, Dr Zuma they the high level team felt prudent to come despite the fact they have been briefed about the situation in the country by a ten member long term observer team that have been in the country since July 15 2013.
"They have been sending us reports, so we are fairly informed but we felt that it was important to come and see for ourselves before the elections," said Dr Dlamini-Zuma.
She said Mr Obasanjo was on his was to Harare to lead the mission but could not give the day when the former Nigerian leader would arrive.
