The First Lady Amai Grace Mugabe has called on the people of Zvimba to ensure that the MDC-T does not make inroads into the area by voting resoundingly for his hubby Robert Mugabe in the harmonised elections set for the 31st of July.

Grace Mugabe, who was addressing thousands of people at Kutama Day Primary School on Wednesday, told the people of Zvimba that they are honoured to share the same home area with the head of state.

She urged them to show their respect by voting for him in the July 31 elections, warning them not to be deceived by those who are peddling western agendas.

The First Lady called on youths to heed Mugabe's message that they have a huge task ahead of them to defend and safeguard Zimbabwe's sovereignty and ignore those who sow seeds of hate.

Grace Mugabe warned the people not to be hoodwinked by some who claim they are capable of attracting investors despite failing to do so in the last 4 years when they were in the inclusive government.

She called on the people to vote for Zanu-PF to consolidate gains of the land reform through schemes like the mechanisation programme.

Earlier on, Zanu-PF's aspiring councillors and candidates vying for house of assembly seats were also introduced.

They include Walter Chidhakwa - Zvimba South, Francis Garikai Mukwangwariva - Zvimba East and Ziyambi Ziyambi - Zvimba West.

Among those vying for council seats is Mabel Nyadzayo who is contesting in Ward 32.

Grace Mugabe also distributed goodies to the elderly.
