TPZ boss wrecks subordinate's marriage

A 43-YEAR-OLD Innscor employee is accusing a Tobacco Processors Zimbabwe (TPZ) floor supervisor of wrecking his marriage. Samson Masarinya of House No. 8764 Masese Close Budiriro 5 is accusing TPZ processing division floor supervisor - identified as Mwedziwendira - of snatching his 28 year-old wife, Enetty Muzambi. However, the accused denied the charges. Masarinya alleges that his wife, who is a TPZ employee, has been having an affair with her boss. "It was in September last year when my 11 year-old son told me that there was a man who had been frequenting my house," said Masarinya
"Each time he came to my house he always looked for my wife. That is when I started suspecting that my wife was cheating on me," said Masarinya. A distraught-looking Masarinya said he then engaged a team of friends and relatives to track down his wife. "I engaged a team that comprised my relatives and friends to track my wife. It was sometime in January when the truth started to unfold.
"On the first day, my wife was spotted in town having lunch with Mwedziwendira.
"They were seen sharing a table, eating some nice food at Chicken Inn and sharing jokes. "The second time that the two were seen was at High Glen Shopping Centre where they were spotted walking holding hands. "On that day, it was one of my closest relatives who saw them. It was said that they went into the shopping mall and bought some goodies before they went to an unknown destination," he said.
Masarinya told reporters that he also spotted his wife walking with Mwedziwendira at Budiriro 5 Shopping Centre. He said that he assigned his friends to track the two "lovebirds" as they walked into OK Supermarket. "I kept a distance from the two but my friends were a bit closer. They overheard their conversation and they told me everything.
"My friends told me that they were discussing their last meeting in town saying that they had had a good time. "That forced me to confront her on the same day. It was when all hell broke up," he said. Masarinya then decided to take his wife to his in-laws after they failed to reach a mutual understanding.
"I sent her back to her parents and it is where she is staying right now. "I then made my own investigations and realised that Masarinya was her boss at TPZ. "I went further and discovered that he stayed in Mufakose and my wife used to visit him there. Even vendors from the neighbourhood where Masarinya stays were in the know of their numerous rendezvous," he said.
Asked if he had any tangible evidence that shows that his wife had been cheating on him with her boss, Masarinya said: "You can even ask my 11 year-old son and he will tell you everything. I even confronted the man. Plus before my wife went back to her parents she bragged of having a relationship with that man. I have plenty of evidence which even her parents can't afford to dispute."
Enetty had no kind words for him when reporters tracked her at her parents' house No. 10515 Budiriro 5. "He is now history and has no claim over her. He has been lying to you! "I sought a peace order against that man. We separated so many months ago. I don't even dream of getting back together with that man because I have suffered a lot of abuse at his hands," she said.
Quizzed to explain the reasons why she separated from her husband, Ennety said: "The reasons are too personal and I cannot share with anyone. "It is not true that I divorced him over my boss. "I never had an affair with my boss. It is true that I work for TPZ but I am not in love with any of my bosses."
She went on to slam her estranged hubby's judgmental behaviour saying: "Let me put this straight, I am at liberty to fall in love with any man of my choice. It is my right to choose any person that I feel would be right for me.
"I am a divorcee who is at liberty to make choices. Samson has no right to tell me whom to love and whom not to love. As we speak I am looking after four children including one that he had with another wife.
"So he should keep a distance from me. I am no longer interested in him and I am currently going out with a civil servant who works at the parliament building, not my boss at TPZ," she clarified further. Mwedziwendira also refuted the allegations when reporters visited him at his place (House 85 Muridzamhara) in Mufakose.
"I am a family man and I don't know that woman. It would not give a good picture suppose my in-laws and other relatives get wind of this story. "I am not in love with that woman. These are blue lies aimed at destroying my family," he said vehemently.
Although he admitted that he was a boss at TPZ, Mwedziwendira said that Enetty was not in his department so there was no way he could have been linked to her. "There are so many departments and there is no way I could know her. It would have been a possibility if she was under my department but she is not. "Maybe she works in the processing department where many women work," he said vaguely.
