GUTA Ramwari apostolic church has thrown its weight behind Zanu-PF presidential candidate President Mugabe in the forthcoming harmonised elections.
In a statement, church spokesperson Mr Gift Makawa said they had endorsed Mugabe.
"He is a man sent by God to save the nation. He has Godly values. He forgives and forgets. He forgave the regime that murdered our thousands of children. He is against homosexuality," said Mr Makawa.
"Homosexuality destroys family concept and is against God's word. I urge Zimbabweans to vote wisely for a President who has people at heart and protects Zimbabwe's sovereignty.
"Zanu-PF has indeed demonstrated that it is a party with innovative, vibrant and forward looking people centred programmes and actions to improve the welfare of the people," he said.
