Police on Wednesday warned Zimbabweans against announcing unauthorized results of Wednesday's general election.
The warning comes in the wake of arrests of several of MDC-T members found in illegal possession of SV11 forms used to compile election results.
The arrests were made in Harare, Headlands, Masvingo and Chiredzi.
Police national spokesperson Charity Charamba said the forms are used to collate and announce election results, and are strictly for use by ZEC which has the sole mandate of collating and making public poll results.
Charamba also cautioned against gathering at polling stations and engaging in premature election celebrations.
Meanwhile, the police spokesperson said 10 soldiers had been arrested for causing chaos at a polling station in the capital when they attempted to jump the queue.
A Zanu PF official was also nabbed after being found in possession of six voter registration slips.
