Zimbabwe awaits election results

Political analysts said on Thursday that Zimbabweans are waiting eagerly for the election results as it is the sole body with the constitutional right of announcing the elections results.

Political analyst Elton Ziki said the election results will be announced by only by ZEC through its Chairperson Justice Rita Makarau.

"Do not listen to results announced in any other medium because all candidates have agents at all polling stations and these will monitoring the counting of the elections at the specific polling stations," said Elton.

Another analyst Pyschology Maziwisa said: "The 2013 elections have brought about different issues and the issue which was paramount was peace before, during and after elections. A number of people exercised their constitutional rights."
