The candidates from Harare's western surbubs have expressed mixed feelings over the early indication of results from Wednesday's election.
The voting process has ended and polling agents are now collecting results with some wards having displayed the results at most polling centres by morning while some of the material has already been dispatched to the command centres.
As the results of elections slowly trickle in, the candidates in the National Assembly race have expressed mixed feelings with those who have won saying the work starts now as they are ready to deliver on their promises.
The losing candidates have no misgivings, pinning their hope on the presidential outcome, though some could not stomach the defeat.
Glen View North Chief Elections Officer, Engineer Tafadzwa Mudondo confirmed that all wards had brought their results for verification.
The harmonised polls were generally peaceful with a few incidents of irregularities and skirmishes being recorded at a few polling stations, while some people failed to vote due to a number of reasons including not finding their names in the voters roll or ignorance on the ward they were supposed to cast their ballots.
