Zanu PF set for a landslide victory, so far (52 out of 62)

Zanu PF is currently leading other political parties as the results of the harmonised elections are being announced by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC).
Out of 62 National Assembly results announced so far, Zanu PF has won 52 most of which are from Masvingo, Mashonaland East and Mashonaland West provinces.
MDC-T has 10 seats so far, one in Chinhoyi, where Peter Mataruse defeated Phillip Chiyangwa of Zanu PF.
Zanu PF regained some urban seats lost to the MDC-T in previous elections.
In Harare, Tendai Savanhu brushed aside ex-ZBC employee, Eric Knight (MDC-T) to claim Mbare constituency while Ray Kaukonde won the seat for Marondera Central, which was also contested by MDC-T's Ian Kay.
Daniel Shumba got 10988 to beat MDC-T's Tongai Mathuthu in Masvingo urban.
Bigger margins were recorded in Mashonaland East and Mashonaland Central provinces, where Simbaneuta Mudarikwa garnered 21421 votes in Uzumba.
Washington Masvaire got a whopping 22264 votes in Maramba-Pfungwe, while Saviour Kasukuwere garnered 19680.
In Norton, former Zimbabwean ambassador to China, Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa won the ticket to Parliament, while Dr Paul Chimedza won the Gutu South seat.
Media, Information and Publicity Minister, Webster Shamu retained Chegutu East, while Dexter Nduna was victorious in Chegutu West after beating MDC-T's Shelton Hwende.
Zanu PF Masvingo Provincial Chairman, Lovemore Matuke beat MDC-T's Kenneth Nhemachena to claim Gutu Central, while Sylvester Nguni retained his seat in Mhondoro-Mubaira.
Dr Munyaradzi Kereke, who contested on a Zanu PF ticket narrowly defeated another Zanu PF candidate, Elia Musakwa in Bikita West.
Most of the seats in Matabeleland South province were won by Zanu PF, with former ZBC staffer, Malachi Nkomo winning the Insiza South seat.
