State Security Minister, Sydney Sekeramayi says his party is ready to roll out indigenisation and empowerment programmes to create wealth for the country and employment for the jobless in accordance to the message in the harmonised elections manifesto.
Speaking soon after the announcement of the results at the National Command Centre, Minister Sekeramayi said it is time that the people of Zimbabwe developed confidence in their selves and start doing things on their own.
He pledged that Zanu PF will work hard to achieve concrete results for the upliftment of the ordinary people's lives as promised by the party during campaigning.
President Mugabe romped to victory in the harmonised elections with 61 percent of the presidential votes and MDC T Leader Morgan Tsvangirai got 31 percent in a process which many observers have described as free and fair.
The United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon has also congratulated Zimbabweans for the peaceful manner in which the polls were held.
