Nkomo commends Zimbabwe tourism

The VP John Landa Nkomo has commended the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority for developing a national tourism brand to market Zimbabwe as the prime tourism destination in Africa, ZBC News reported on Friday.
The development and launch of the brand is yet another effort to market the country's prime tourism sites as part of the national programme of rebuilding the country's economy.
VP Nkomo called for the promotion of domestic tourism and aggressive marketing to attract tourists into the country.
He challenged communities to participate by packaging and showcasing local culture to unite the nation.
Nkomo said local food dishes and the country's history are also factors in tourism.
