There has been jubilation and celebration this morning as scores of Zanu-PF party employees, representatives of ex- political prisoners, chimbwidos and war veterans, lined up the entrance to the party's headquarters in Harare to congratulate members of the Politburo as they arrived for a meeting.

The supporters chanted slogans, while singing revolutionary songs, with the loudest cheers going to newcomer into the House of Assembly, Joseph Chinotimba and Obert Mpofu among others.

Members of the Politburo are meeting, in the background of Zanu-PF's resounding victory in the harmonised elections, which saw President Robert Mugabe garnering 61 percent of the vote, while Morgan Tsvangirai of the MDC-T got 33 percent.
