The accident occurred at the 49-kilometre peg at around 9 am when the bus, heading towards Harare tried to overtake three commuter omnibuses before ramming into the truck which was heading towards Bindura.

Police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba confirmed the incident.
