HARARE - Zimbabwe's opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-T) has 15 cases to prove the recent elections were rigged, the party has told the country's Constitutional Court.
MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai has asked the court to declare the elections null and void.
The party also alleges bribery, intimidation, voters being turned away and an incompetent electoral commission.
MDC lawyers filed the application to have the vote scrapped on Friday.
"The prayer that we seek is that this election be declared null and void. We are going to submit good evidence, in our view, and we want to see how just or unjust our system can be," MDC spokesperson Douglas Mwonzora said.
Robert Mugabe's Zanu-PF party has denied all the allegations.
SADC and the African Union have endorsed the elections, which extended Mugabe's 33-year rule, but the international community has raised some doubts.
Should the court rule in favour of the MDC, fresh elections need to be held within 60 days.
