The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) will conduct local authority run off elections this Wednesday in three wards after the 31st July harmonised elections failed to produce winners.

ZEC chief elections officer Lovemore Sekeramayi confirmed that six local authority candidates who garnered the same number of votes are set to go for the run-off.
He said all logistics are in place adding that voting will commence at 7am and close at 7pm.
Godfrey Mavura (Zanu PF) and Fastmore Mandipota (MDC-T) will face off in Kadoma Ward 4 after they both garnered 545 votes in the July 31 elections.
In Kusile Ward 5, Ubunene Ncube of the MDC-T and Zanu PF's Soneni Tshuma, who both polled 419 votes, will contest in the run off.
