Dr Gono congratulates Senator Simon Khaya Moyo

RESERVE Bank of Zimbabwe Governor Dr Gideon Gono has congratulated Zanu-PF National Chairman, Senator Simon Khaya Moyo, for his appointment as the Senior Minister of State.
Sen Khaya Moyo, a member of the Zanu-PF Presidium, is part of the 26-member Cabinet appointed by President Mugabe on Tuesday.
In a statement, Dr Gono applauded President Mugabe for giving Sen Khaya Moyo such a lofty post.
"On behalf of the board, management and staff of the RBZ and on my own behalf as a Governor and my family, I heartily congratulate you on your appointment as Senior Minister of State by His Excellency, President Robert Mugabe," said Dr Gono.
"As an institution and people who have worked together before, we are looking forward to contributing to the vision of your ministry in fulfillment of the people's wishes and His Excellency, the President's mandate."
The State Procurement Board (SPB) has also sent its congratulatory message to Sen Khaya Moyo and wished him well in his new office.
"I wish to congratulate you on your appointment to this important post. It has been a long haul and I hope and trust that the good Lord will guide you in all your work," said SPB executive chairman Mr Charles Kuwadza.
The new Cabinet described as an exciting blend of young and experienced ministers was sworn into office on Wednesday.
