Media told to work towards success of new govt

Media, Information and Broadcasting Services minister Jonathan Moyo has urged media players to forget the past and re-establish a fresh relationship with him and his ministry by reporting positively and showing commitment to the new government.
Addressing senior management officials from various media houses in Harare on Friday following his reappointment to the ministry, Moyo outlined his expectations from the media.
Government implored all mainstream media organisations in Zimbabwe to be patriotic and uphold national interests and ethos as espoused by the country's new supreme law.
Moyo, said this on Friday as he addressed senior editors, managers and journalists from all media organisations in Zimbabwe in his first engagement with them after his appointment as minister.
