Zimbabwean authorities have issued a warrant of arrest against a Ghananian businessman who together with his business partner are at the centre of a $6 million diamond bribery claim.
This means Kingsley Ghansah is now a fugitive from justice.
The new twist to the unravelling diamonds scandal adds a new dimension to the case which has riveted national attention, following President Mugabe's sensational claims that ex-ZMDC boss Godwills Masimirembwa demanded a $6 million bribe from the Ghanaians.
Masimirembwa has strenuously denied the allegations saying he is ready to tell the President and the nation who benefited what from the diamonds.
