Woman storms into son-in law's bedroom, strips in protest over lobola

A lower Gweru woman stormed into her son-in law's bedroom and stripped in protest over non-payment of lobola.
Dzokai Rera aged 39 appeared before Getrude Mayenyose facing an indecent exposure charge.
Dzokai stripped in front of Dumezweni Siziba accusing him of failing to clear his outstanding lobola.
Prosecutor, Chipo Matshe told the court that on February 23, Dzokai in the company of her husband Tendayi visited their son-in law to demand the lobola.
On arrival, Siziba was asleep, but Dzokai forced herself into the bedroom.
Siziba had slept undressed.
The court heard that Dzokai removed the blankets on Siziba and started assaulting him.
It was at that point that Dzokai stripped and pointed at her private parts shouting at Siziba saying he must 'show respect to the organ which bore your wife".
Siziba made the report of the assault and indecent exposure to the police in Gweru Rural station, leading to the couple arrest.
