Residents of Kingsdale Housing Co-operative at a farm in Norton, who lost a ConCourt case to landowner Peter Neil on Wednesday, are hinging their hopes on a political settlement.

They are appealing for the intervention of President Mugabe and their MP Christopher Mutsvangwa.

The co-operative had argued in court that they had been allocated the land by the Ministry of Lands and had not invaded the property, but lost the case.

Uncertain of their future, they talked of their hardships, the painful possibilities of becoming lodgers again and how grateful they would be if politicians joined the fray to fight from their corner.
