The High Court has deferred to Tuesday the 8th of October the fresh bail application for the two women who were caught with items linked to witchcraft in Harare's Budiriro high density.
The women, Chipo Chakaja and Maria Moyo will have their fate determined Tuesday next week after High Court judge Justice Joseph Musakwa postponed the matter following supplementary submissions filed by the duo's lawyer Tawanda Takaindisa.
Meanwhile, the trial for the two will start on Monday the 7th of October 2013 before Mbare magistrate Reuben Mukhavi.
Chakaja and Moyo were arrested and incarcerated after initially pleading guilty to allegations of practising in witchcraft following which Mr Mukhavi altered their plea and instructed that the two undergo psychological evaluation to assess their mental conditions.
