7 killed in bus, car collision

Seven people have died and three others seriously injured when a vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a head on collision with a Dawliner bus, about seven kilometers out of Gweru along the Gweru-Shurugwi highway.

The seven comprise of six adults and a child.

Eye witnesses say the driver of the Toyota Corolla failed negotiate a curve as he was speeding, resulting in him losing control of the vehicle.

The injured have been rushed to Gweru General Hospital.
