Dead man found in a car

In an incident which has left residents of Harare's Vainona and Pomona suburbs shell-shocked, a man was found dead in car along Harare Drive at the corner of Alpes Road on Thursday, in a suspected murder case.
Residents said they had seen the Toyota Raum vehicle for the past two days, but became suspicious on the second day and alerted the police.
When reporters arrived at the scene of the incident, members of the police forensic unit were still carrying out preliminary investigations on the cause of the death.
The owner of the car, who could not speak on camera, also confirmed that the Toyota Raum has been missing for the past two days. He said he had been trying to locate the driver for the past two days.
Meanwhile, police officers who were at the scene barred reporters from interviewing residents.
The officers also briefly detained this news crew at the scene demanding that the cameraperson must delete the footage from the camera.
