Man rapes ex-wife in jealous rage

A jealous 25-year-old Victoria Falls man stormed his former wife's house early in the morning and in a fit of rage assaulted and raped her twice.
He was accusing her of having many boyfriends.
Matabeleland North provincial police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Eglon Nkala confirmed the arrest of Khulumai Ncube of House Number 811 Reynard Road, Victoria Falls on allegations of assaulting and raping his ex-wife.
Asst Insp Nkala said Ncube and his former wife who are now living separately were once married and have a child together.
"On 16 November at about 4am, Khulumani Ncube who is the ex-husband to the complainant arrived at her house and violently gained entry into the house," said Asst Insp Nkala. He said once inside, Ncube destroyed some kitchen utensils and poured mealie meal into a bucket that had water in it.
"He then assaulted the woman with fists accusing her of having boyfriends and went on to rape her twice before he left," said Asst Insp Nkala.
The police spokesperson said the complainant went and made a report to the police leading to the arrest of Ncube who is expected to appear in court today.
