Man catches wife kissing boyfriend

An elder from the Light House Ministries, Assain Chiwaira got the shock of his life when he caught his wife being kissed by a boyfriend in a car parked just outside the couple's Mucheke home.

Assain Chiwaira of Zimuto Street in Mucheke appeared in court facing charges of assaulting Desire Di­vayi with fists when he caught him kissing his wife. The matter was heard before Magistrate Laighton Ndokera.

It is alleged Chiwaira had gone to town to collect money from the bank at around 2330hours. Joshua Mun­dondo told the court that Florence Shereni, the wife to the accused then phoned Divayi his boyfriend asking for $10 to get herself a National Identity Card.

Divayi told Shereni to meet him at Mucheke A business centre and Shereni was given the money she had requested.

Shereni told the court that the complainant insisted to accompany her home since it was risky to walk home alone because it was late and dark. The State alleges that Divayi then accompanied Shereni to her place of residence in his car.

The two allegedly started kissing outside the home and the husband was disturbed by the jovial people and went to investigate. He then stumbled into his wife kissing the boyfriend.

Shereni ran away and Divayi and Chiwaira got into a fist fight.
