Two men caught red-handed raping a mentally challenged woman

Two Harare rapists were arrested and charged for allegedly taking turns to rape a mentally challenged woman (29).
One of the the men is reported to have been physically pulled off the victim by the complainant's relative who came to her rescue.
The incident occurred on the 14th of April at one of the men's residence whose family members were not at home.
As part of the evidence, police allegedly recovered the woman's blood stained underwear and a medical report. The report confirmed penetration took place and also that there were abrasions on the complainant's private parts.
According to the State, on the day in question, the rapists [Perfect Nyikayaramba (18) and Right Kativu (age not given)] allegedly teamed up and connived to rape the woman who is mentally challenged and was under treatment.
Kativu allegedly raped the woman first before his accomplice, Nyikayaramba, took his turn and was then caught red-handed.
The two are set to appear before regional magistrate Munamato Mutevedzi next week for trial.
Kativu applied and was granted $50 bail by High Court judge, Justice Felistas Chatukuta.
He was ordered to report to Dzivarasekwa Police Station every Friday as part of his bail conditions.
Nyikayaramba is still in custody pending his bail application at the High Court.
