Drama as pastor's wife is caught kissing lover in car

A MASVINGO pastor was stunned last Saturday when he returned home just before mid-night to find his wife and a lover kissing and cuddling each other in a car.
Unable to contain his fury, Assain Chivaura, 33, who is a pastor with Light House Ministries, dragged the lover out of the vehicle and punched him several times in the face before smashing the windscreen of the vehicle.
The lover, Desire Duvayi, reported the case to the police leading to Chivaura's arrest.
The pastor, who is also a Schweppes employee, appeared before Masvingo provincial magistrate, Langton Ndokora, Thursday charged with assault.
He pleaded guilty, telling the court that he had acted out of anger after finding his wife making out with her lover at their matrimonial home.
The magistrate sentenced him to two a wholly suspended 60-day term in prison.
