BUSINESSMAN and former Dynamos Football Club secretary, Mr Brian Kashangura, has been granted a decree of divorce against his wife of 11 years who he accused of infidelity at a time he was bedridden.
Justice Tendai Uchena granted the divorce order with costs and awarded Mr Kashangura 40 percent of the couple's wealth while the woman Ms Gilliet Sarudzai Kashangura, a lawyer, was given 60 percent to enable her to take care of the minor child in her custody.
In his judgment, Justice Uchena ruled that Ms Kashangura failed to challenge the infidelity allegations leveled against her.
"Serious marital misconduct was alleged against the defendant, which she did not comment on until she closed her case. The plaintiff (Mr Kashangura) said he could hear male voices in their living room while he was bedridden in the bedroom.
"He said these voices were voices of the defendant's boyfriends. He alleged that the company he had registered in the name of their son was tampered with when he was in hospital.
Mr Kashangura, a former police officer and public prosecutor, co-owns Forest Security Private Limited and Brendon Security with his now ex-wife.
