Three people were found dead in Mashonaland East province during the past three days.

In the first incident, a 61-year old man from Mutoko, Bogiwa Village hanged himself with a church garment in his bedroom after failing to raise cattle to pay traditional healers.

The healers had cleansed his homestead leading to a domestic dispute with his relatives.

The man is said to have left his wife sleeping in the kitchen before retiring to bed where his body was found hanging the next morning. No foul play is suspected.

In the other incident, a 37-year old man from Lington Farm in Marondera was found hanging after a misunderstanding with his wife whom he was accusing of having an extra marital affair.

The man is said to have disappeared from his home only for his body to be discovered by his 8-year old son and a report was made at Marondera Police.

In another incident of suspected murder, a 50-year old man from Marondera was found dead at a hidden place near Yellow City with a deep stab in the back.

Acting Provincial Police Spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Norbert Mzondo confirmed the deaths and urged people with domestic disputes to seek counseling.
